Following his passion for real estate and harnessing his entrepreneurial spirit, Scott has been responsible for the development of over 15,000 lots and multiple master planned communities in the course of his 25+ year career. He has extensive experience acquiring, financing, entitling, and developing land in all 4 of the major Texas markets for large public homebuilders including Lennar and Ryland. In 2016 he co-founded a Central Texas based land development company, Heartwood Development Company.

Prior to his time in Central Texas, Scott worked in business development for Frito Lay in Dallas where he supported one of their largest product launches. He followed his mentors to Centex Homes where he played an integral role in the acquisition and integration of 4 homebuilding companies valued at over $210 million.

Scott holds a B.S. in Finance from Penn State University’s Schreyer Honors College and an M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School. Scott is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
